Christopher Ubosi, dubbed ‘The King of Radio’ by ThisDay newspaper is the proud owner of over four broadcast houses located in Nigeria and overseas, who says “I am a broadcaster by accident”.
He is a quantity surveyor, project manager and the Managing Director of Megalectrics limited.
A native of Nsukka , Anambra state, Chris Ubosi attended st Mary’s Private school Maryland, Lagos, Federal Government college, Ijanikin, Lagos and studied Quantity surveying at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for his first degree. He obtained his MSC in project management at the University of Lagos and started his broadcasting career in 1993; co-founded Mtech Communications in August 2001 and worked with AIMS GROUP, an Architecture and Engineering firm which later formed Steam Broadcasting, where he served as the executive director. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Megalectrics Limited, owners of Classic FM, The Beat FM, Naija FM and Lagos Talks. His legacy as a major stakeholder in the broadcast and entertainment industries is an inspiration to future generations.
