Dr. Augustine Osegha Ebose, the Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Insurance Company Limited and a member of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) Governing Council, was after a keenly contested election in June, 2025 appointed as Honorary Assistant Treasurer of the association which is the umbrella body of all insurance and reinsurance companies in Nigeria.
Dr. Ebose was prior to his appointment as Managing Director, Anchor Insurance in January 2017 from Standard Alliance Insurance Plc, where he was General Manager/Divisional Head, Public Sector, Brokers Marketing and Emerging Markets holds a B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Economics, Delta State University, Abraka; MBA, University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti; Masters in Business Administration, specializing in Management Research (M.Res. degree) from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Small Scale Business Management, Babcock University, Ilishan, Ogun State.
Dr. Ebose aside from being a Member of the Governing Council, Nigerian Insurers’ Association, is also a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administrators, Member, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Institute of Directors, Ikoyi Club 1938 and NAICOM’s Publicity/Communication Sub-Committee, among others.
Dr. Augustine Ebose’s exploits and continuous innovations in the insurance sector is a legacy worthy of celebration and inspiration for future generations.
