Patricia Temitope Alabi, an evangelist, is well-known in the Nigerian gospel music scene. She is an actress, vocalist, and composer of motion picture music. She is also referred to as "Agbo Jesu" and "Ore ti o common".
Under the guidance of Mr. Yanju Adegbite, Tope, a mass communication graduate, worked as a correspondent for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in Ibadan.
She once belonged to the comedic troupe "Jesters International". Later, in both Ibadan and Lagos, she performed with other well-known touring and stage theater companies. She produced movies in Nigeria's Yoruba film style. Following her conversion to Christianity, Tope Alabi eventually shifted her concentration to gospel music.
She has received invitations to write and perform the soundtracks for many movies from authors, producers, and directors in the Yoruba film industry.
Nigerians on Twitter voted Tope Alabi the Yoruba language queen on May 21, 2019, as a result of a competition hosted by United Bank for Africa in honor of their 70th anniversary.
